Pop Of Pigment

Lindsey has been a business professional for just under 20 years. She has an associates in fine arts and bachelors in business. Art has been her number one passion since she was little. Lindsey understands what it’s like to appreciate those who dedicate their time to make others feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Growing up with a birthmark on her face, she searched for someone special to help her. Her path to becoming a PMU artist started in dermatology where she spent 8 years learning the business under the wing of her own dermatologist. Permanent makeup has been a way for Lindsey to give back to others while utilizing her passion for art. Making you feel more confident and beautiful is her goal. *Fully insured * 2x certified in Microblading and Powder Brows Certified in Lip blushing Brow lamination and more… ————————————————————— WHAT IS MICROBLADING? Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup also known as eyebrow embroidery, micro stroking, feather touch or micropigmentation. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, which is performed using a machine, microblading is done with a manual, handheld tool with attached needles that are fused together in a linear grouping. These very fine needles deposit pigment into the epidermis, replicating hair by following the natural growth of your hair, giving you a flawless, fuller brow. HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? Microblading can last anywhere from 10 months to 3 years depending on your skin type, activities, and aftercare. Oilier clients may not hold onto the pigment as well. Everyone will respond to the procedure differently; we cannot guarantee your results. HOW IS THE SHAPE/COLOR DECIDED? In most cases we can discuss this at your first appointment. If you would feel more comfortable you may send me a photo of your brows prior to the appointment, and we may discuss your questions/concerns. You may show us a photo of how you fill them in that way we can see what you like, but also assess what needs work and what does not need work along with your skin’s undertone. Your brows will be carefully constructed using a mapping process. This will help us find YOUR perfect brow. Then we will choose the color together before the procedure starts. If needed, we will clean up the brows outside of the outline we choose however, if you normally get them waxed, threaded, etc., please do so a few days before your appointment. WHY DO I NEED TWO APPOINTMENTS? When you leave your appointment, your brows will look very bold and MUCH darker than they will end up. Throughout the week the color will fade drastically. Some customers may like that, while others prefer a more bold, structured look. It may appear at times that the pigment vanished. This will reappear. You may also heal "spotty" the first time. The second appointment we assess the color, re-evaluate how your skin is reacting to the pigment and make any changes necessary. Additional touch up appointments may be necessary for customers with very oily skin, problematic skin, darker pigmentation, or customers that did not follow aftercare procedures correctly (see "after care"). Microblading requires a minimum of two appointments. HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Appointments can be made through the online booking system on this website.  All pricing is listed under services WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? I accept all major credit cards , Venmo, cash. There is a non refundable deposit of $100 on longer services. If you cancel, this can still be applied on a booking done within the same year. For the booking fee you may pay with any major credit card. The day of the procedure the remaining balance may be paid by cash , credit card, or venmo. DO YOU WORK ON PREVIOUSLY TATTOOED EYEBROWS? A consult is always needed before working on prior work. Sometimes there are things we can do, but other times removal is the only option. A photo must be sent BEFORE booking to see if it is something we will work with. We do not “touch up” other artists work for a touch up price, it is at least full price! WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROBLADING AND POWDER BROW?   Microblading is soft and very natural once healed. For some that is perfect, but some clients want a bit more. If you want a bolder look, oily or problematic skin, a powder brow may be for you! Combo brows or blade and shade are great options as well. This is where you combine some microblading stroke with powdering. ————————————————- CONTRAINDICATIONS: Cannot perform procedure (if you have any of the following, then you are NOT a candidate): -Pregnant and/or Nursing -Under the age of 18 -Liver Disease -Compromised skin near/directly on the brow area -Autoimmune Disease -HIV -Hepatitis -Hypo-pigmentation -Hypertrophic scars -Chemotherapy/Radiation within the past 6 months -Infections/Antibiotics within the past 2 weeks -Keloid Scars -Allergic to numbing agents (lidocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine) The following conditions MAY require a note from your doctor giving consent: -Anemia -Diabetes -Epilepsy -Artificial heart valves/ heart problems/ blood problems -Cancer in the past 6 months -Medications that can cause blood to thin or have side effects that may affect healing and recovery from the treatment ———————————————————- PRE-PROCEDURE ADVICE: -No caffeine the morning of the procedure -Botox should be done 2-4 weeks prior/after microblading -Unless medically necessary, please avoid taking things that thin the blood like fish oils, herbals, niacin,Vitamin E, aspirins, etc 10-14 days before the procedure -No aspirin, excedrin, or anything with caffeine 48 hours prior -Chemical or laser peels should be done 6 weeks before the procedure -AHA preparations or Retin-A should be undergone no less than 2 weeks before the treatment -Electrolysis treatment should be undergone no less than 2 weeks before -Any brow shaping using wax should be performed at least 1 week prior -A patch test can be performed, unless waived by the client.
